As a paralegal at Bitton & Associates, Cindy supports and assists litigation attorneys in all phases of case handling. She assists counsels with legal research, drafting motions, discovery practice, document review and trial preparation.
Prior to working for Bitton & Associates, Cindy worked in the casino industry. There, she was in charge of dealing with a wide array of employment law issues, including drafting the Code of Conduct and other HR policies. She was also involved in drafting and reviewing employment contracts. Moreover, Cindy was in-charge of over-all employee discipline. More importantly, it was her task to ensure that the company was in compliance with labor and government codes.
Cindy graduated from the prestigious San Beda College of Law in the Philippines. After passing the Philippine bar, Cindy worked in a full-service law firm as an associate. She handled employment, business, real estate and criminal cases. She was involved in all aspects of the cases assigned to her, from drafting of the complaint to post-judgment work. For a semester, Cindy also taught Criminal Law — Procedure.
