You should get paid for all the time you work.  Employers regularly do not pay for all hours worked, do not pay overtime when they should, pay improper salaries to avoid overtime, and do not properly pay commissions, bonuses, spiffs, and tips.  If you think this is happening to you, you may have a case.

There are times when employees need to take a leave of absence from work.  This may be because of a pregnancy, an illness, the need to care for loved one, or it may be for military service, jury duty, or due to a disability.  When such a need arises the law affords employment protection in certain circumstances.  If your employer is not working with you, or retaliates against you due to your need for such a leave, you may have a case.

Are you working for home after work.  Are you on call.  Do you take care of administrative tasks or review and respond to e-mails after work from home?  If so, you may be entitled to additional compensation.  Also, does your employer pay you like an independent contractor but treat you like an employee.  If so, you may have a case.
